More than 100 Santa Clarita Valley locals joined Pet Me Happy Treats founders Stephen K. Peeples and his wife Nadine A. Peeples for the company’s official Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce Grand Opening ribbon-cutting and celebration on July 11. Maker of all-natural Artisan Dog Treats with Oregon Blueberries, Pet Me Happy Treats is a Santa Clarita-based online e-commerce business (PetMeHappy.com) that also has local brick-and-mortar retail outlets. One of the retailers, Shelter Hope Pet Shop, a nonprofit pet rescue and adoption agency headed by Dani Caouette, hosted the ribbon-cutting at its Town Center Mall location in Valencia. SCV Chamber officials, local civic dignitaries, business and community leaders, charter Artisan Dog Treats customers, friends, family members and assorted pets packed the shop, mixing and mingling and meeting the two Peeples and Lennon, their faithful canine companion. The couple adopted the 8-year-old Chihuahua-terrier mix on October 9 (John Lennon’s birthday) last year as the Peeples’ new family dog and Pet Me Happy Treats’ Official Canine Mascot and Spokesdog. Among the dignitaries attending and making official presentations were Santa Clarita Mayor Pro-Tem Laurene Weste, Santa Clarita Councilmember Marsha McLean, and representatives of California Assemblyman Dante Acosta, State Senator Scott Wilk, U.S. Congressman Steve Knight and the SCV Chamber’s Cheryl Ramirez. Two-legged guests enjoyed the savory gourmet appetizers served up by Bonefish Grill’s five-star Valencia restaurant, also at Town Center Mall, and meeting and greeting the adoptable pets available at Shelter Hope. Pet Me Happy Treats and Shelter Hope share a mission of advocating adoption over […]

As of January 1, 2017, Pet Me Happy will retire its line of pet-related gifts to focus on developing the company’s hot new all-natural Artisan Dog Treats. The Santa Clarita, California-based company launched its first Artisan Dog Treat flavor, fresh Oregon Blueberries, in September 2016, available at http://www.PetMeHappy.com and at select retail outlets. “Our Artisan Dog Treats with Oregon Blueberries treats have generated exceptionally positive reviews and sales are growing,” said Pet Me Happy CEO Stephen K. Peeples. “The gifts we also featured were good, but they were made by others,” he said. “We created the treats in our own kitchen, and by far the treats are what our customers like best. They are coming to know and trust the Pet Me Happy brand, and to associate the brand with our Artisan Dog Treats. So focusing on the treats seems a logical step in the growth of our company.” When buying the blueberry treats, customers often ask what flavors are coming next, Peeples said. “Our customers are looking for healthy treats for their dogs, which is why they like the blueberry treats,” he said. “Cranberry is the flavor our customers have requested most often as our next flavor. Cranberries have the same kind of health benefits as blueberries. So we’re finalizing the recipe now for Pet Me Happy’s Artisan Dog Treats with Fresh Cranberries. We’re projecting to launch the new treats in the second quarter of 2017.” Artisan Dog Treats Online, In-Store and Delivered Pet Me Happy’s Artisan Dog Treats are available […]
